Memory Protection Devices offers their BH123A, which is an ultra-low profile battery holder for 123A batteries. A key feature of the design is that the battery is flush with the PCB`s surface, meaning no height is added to a battery when it’s mounted on a printed circuit board. Other features include being rugged enough for passing 1 meter drop testing, yet still being lightweight—weighing in at only 2.75 grams. Its plastic body offers high heat resistance, good stiffness, and easy battery exchanges while firmly keeping the battery cell in place. It is nickel plated overall for mating with nickel plated contacts on lithium cells. It accepts batteries from alkaline and lithium to lithium-ion, including BR123A, CR123A, EL123A, and others.
